Mission Statement of Mt. Zion Music Team
The
purpose of the Music Team at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is to
assist the body in entering into worship, bringing people into God's
presence, preparing hearts to receive the Word, and providing opportunity
and means for expressing our love, gratitude, and praise to God for
His grace, mercy, and saving life in Jesus Christ.
We do this by:
- Being worshippers ourselves
- Being united together as a team
- Being in tune with the direction of the Lord
- Being witnesses through our life and music
- Creating the environment for worship
- Developing and improving the musical talents God has
given us, individually, and as a group.
