Coronavirus Update #2

Mt. Zion Church is continuing to do what we are all about.  We are getting strong in the Word of God.  We are putting our faith in Jesus into action.  We are doing it all for the purpose of making disciples for Jesus!!!  The challenge our nation is facing at this time will not stop us from letting the light of Jesus shine!!!

We are continuing to worship in our homes.  Look for sermon and music videos on our website mzprays.org, and on our social media page.  Look for children's resources by connecting with our Children's Ministry Director, Amanda Davis mzkids@mzprays.org.  Look for youth resources by connecting with our Youth Ministry Director, Andy McMullin andy@mzprays.org.

To create online gatherings for your ministry, connecting group, Bible study, etc., contact Andy McMullin andy@mzprays.org.  We can make that happen for you.

Please continue to give to the work of the Lord here at Mt. Zion Church.  Our staff continues to work hard, our mission partners are depending on us, and our financial obligations continue.  You can give online HERE.  You can mail tithes and offerings to Mt. Zion Church, 1643 Churchville Rd., Bel Air, MD 21015.  Our mail box is a secure locked box.  The mail will be picked up from the mail box daily.

The office is closed for the health of our staff and their families, and at the Executive Order of the Governor.  All phone calls to 410-836-7444 will be forwarded to the office staff.  Our staff are continuing to work their full hours.

If you have prayer requests, or want to talk to a staff member, don't hesitate to let us know at 410-836-7444 office@mzprays.org.

If you are in need of help, we have a team of over 50 persons who have stepped forward to run errands, deliver food, etc.  Let us know if you need help or know of someone who needs help.

We are operating a food distribution outreach at the Tent.  Donate food on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (we will come to your car and carry the food into the Tent).  The food distribution will be on Thursdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (we will bring the food to your car).

I am confident that the Lord will be lifted up high by Mt. Zion Church at this time, and that we will win many hearts to Jesus!!!

In Jesus,
Pastor Craig

We can't serve within the walls of the church building, but we at Mt. Zion want to serve however we can. Thinking especially about those who are more vulnerable to the virus. Can we run your necessary errands? Grocery store, get your medicines, pick up your pet food? If you or someone you know is concerned about being out in public because of being susceptible to getting ill please let us help! Email at office@mzprays.org, or call 410-836-7444 (leave a message if needed, it will be checking frequently). "do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." Philippians 2:4

Message from our Pastor!

Mt. Zion is all about Jesus: exciting times of worship, in-depth teaching of the Word of God, highly valuing children and youth, hands-on involvement in God’s work around the world, joining our hearts in prayer.

It is our heart’s desire to become a community of disciples, growing in faith, living in hope, and reaching out with the love of Jesus Christ.

from the pastor...

Got junk? We know a junkman! We’re looking to Jesus to get the junk out of our lives so that we can be the kind of people who turn the world upside down. It doesn’t happen all at once, but it happens. Whoever you are, wherever you’ve been, whatever’s going on – we hope you will get in the game with us. We try to go deep into the Word, deep into prayer, deep into Jesus, and deep into the world.

Craig McLaughlin, pastor
