Caring for the Homeless
with the many restrictions that COVID-19 has put on the world around us the homeless shelter that Mt. Zion Church hosts each year will look different this year - churches will not be hosting individuals in their church buildings, so we will be reaching out in love and support in other ways - Harford County Hope for the Homeless Alliance is asking for volunteers to serve as LOVE IN ACTION PARTNERS who will listen, provide encouragement, pray with and generally check on the welfare of the homeless individuals registered with HCHHA - for more information about how it’s going to work, contact Dave Roach at email@example.com, 410-459-2809 - JOIN US IN BEING A BLESSING TO THOSE WHO ARE IN GREAT NEED

Pop-Up Praise Party
Meet at the Tent at 10:30 am - we will drive to the home of someone who needs encouragement, gather on their front yard, and sing God’s praise for 30 minutes - we’ll be done by 11:30 - it’s like Christmas Caroling, but year round - (we will wear masks and practice social distancing) - (rain/snow date, Feb. 27, will announce on Constant Contact) - COME SING OUR GOD’S PRAISE!!!
Stephen Ministers are available to share Christ's love, encourage, and bring help, hope and healing in body, soul, and spirit through the trials of life. Stephen Ministers meet once a week for an hour to listen and pray with their care receiver for as long as necessary. You don't need to deal with the trials of life alone. If you are interested in having a Stephen Minister then call Will or Bev Brooks, the Referrals Coordinators, at 410-914-5884 to find out more and get a Stephen Minister.
