Celebrate Recovery
We aren't just a support group, we are a community,
doing life and recovery together
Celebrate Recovery, is for anyone experiencing hurts, habits or hang up: We hold a weekly meeting on Thursday Nights
What to expect at CR:
We start our night together with dinner. Why? Because we are a community, we are a family. This is a great time to catch up with one another and enjoy being together with CR family.
After dinner, we start our large group meeting. We begin this with a time of worship. During worship each week we celebrate our recovery with songs of praise, give out recovery chips (1 day -25+ years), say the 8 Principles and their Biblical comparisons or the 12 Steps and their Biblical comparisons, listen to a wonderful teaching on these principals and steps and recite the full Serenity Prayer!
Worship is followed by open share groups. We offer the following open share groups.
Men's Hurts, Habits, & Hang-ups
Men's Addiction Group
Women's Hurts, Habits & Hang-ups
Women's Addiction Group
Women with Food related issues
Women dealing with past abuses
After open share groups, we hold an extra optional time of fellowship 'Cross Talk Café'

Stephen Ministry
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ
(Galatians 6:2, NRSV)
What is Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system.
Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
Who does Stephen Ministry help?
People going through tough times—congregation members and others in the community—who are struggling through a difficult time in life—experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or some other life crisis.
Who are Stephen Ministers?
Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high-quality, one-to-one Christian care to people going through tough times. A Stephen Minister usually provides care to one person at a time, meeting with that person once a week for about an hour. Twice a month, Stephen Ministers gather with their Stephen with their Stephen Leaders for supervision and continuing education.
More Information?
If you would like to talk with someone about receiving or training to become a Stephen Minister please contact Will and Bev Brooks at 410-914-5884.
