At Mt. Zion, we are growing a Community of Disciples

Discipleship is a life long journey of becoming like Christ, our most important purpose in life, & the essence of the mission of Mt. Zion

Connecting Groups

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:16-20

At Mt. Zion, we believe that discipleship begins with us. We have a responsibility to set an example for other believers and to build one another up through fellowship, prayer, study, and teaching. We are seeking to fulfill these needs in our congregation through our Connecting Groups.

Our goal is for everyone at Mt. Zion to participate in one or more Connecting Groups, which we tailor to meet the needs of a variety of individuals from all backgrounds. Whether you’ve attended church your entire life, are a brand-new believer, or even a non-believer, we want you to find a group that will love you, support you, & help you to grow.

We also encourage you to consider becoming a H.O.S.T. We have many resources available to help you, and the requirements for being a H.O.S.T. couldn’t be simpler:

H – Have a Heart for God and people

O – Open your home to people

S – Provide Snacks

T – Turn on a DVD
